ok so I have a quick question...my family just gave our old eMac to my grandparents because they were in great need of a new computer. However, the eMac's ethernet port got fried because of a power surge and my dad purchased an Ethernet USB adapter from Best Buy and the only one that was available was made by Apple.
So my question is 1) does Apple make more than one ethernet USB adapter and 2) if not, then it means it is for the MacBook Air. Will Apple's ethernet USB adapter work on the eMac?

The eMac is running 10.4.x

The only USB ethernet adapter they make is the one for the MBA, which works on all the computers I've tried (including PCs). Just be sure to get the drivers.
