Etymotic Research HF2 Earphones / Headset?

I have seen these advertised as being "iphone compatible" but does anyone have these for the itouch 3g and if so does the mic work with skype?

Not sure about whether the mic works with skype, but make sure you get the HF5, not the HF2. The HF2 doesn't have a mic.

If it uses an iPhone compatible 3.5mm plug (headphone plug) it should be compatible with the iPod. My ipod touch works with my iphone mic adapter.
