I suppose the Brussels suits needed something to keep them busy now that MS are sorted. Google will have to get used to this kind of thing as they get bigger and bigger.

I have to say this is long over due since they have exhibited a antitrust behavior for some time. Just look at the digitizing book deal, it was slanted completely to them and away from the copyright holders and resellers.

The irony is that Microsoft is one of the complainants.

What irony, its a very smart business decision. All competitors do that when the option is available. It causes google to dedicate resources to fight the investigation, opening up the risk of them (google) taking their eyes off of their main goal (ruling the world).

Yes, it's smart, given the circumstances. But it's still ironic. That doesn't change.
