I am wondering whether I can buy a power cable and/or a power adapter plug for the New MacBook Pro 15" to use it in Europe if you travel overseas.

I do not want to buy the apple travel adapter kit for 50 bucks because I do not need all of these connectors and plugs. I am just looking for a specific European plug (Germany).

The beauty of apple's :apple: power adapters is that you can remove the plug and replace it, however I did not find anywhere just a plug for purchase- it should be just a couple bucks for such an item. Of course I can go to the German apple store and but the whole adapter but this is ridiculous, isn't it?

The power supply 110V/220V is not a problem - so you do not need a power converter - just a diffrent plug for different outlets.

And ideas would be appreciated.

IIRC Germany just uses the standard type C connector you can find adapters for pretty much anywhere that sells electronics. It'll cost you like 3 dollars for a little plug adapter that will fit on the end of your standard US plug.

+1, I use these adapters all the time. And $3 is way too much.
