Seems like these companies will announce details on the 31st.

I guess we will see if Europe is getting 3G or not.

I can't wait, I have never been on O2 but it looks like time to change.

I really hope we get a better iPhone than US

as much as i really want the iPhone, if it lacks 3G, then it's a dealbreaker for me..
so please please.. let it have 3G!!! we use it lots and most phones nowadays have it anyway..

O2 are going to need some good tariffs to back this up, and a better data offering. I don't think they're the right choice for the UK in terms of quality and forward vision, but they were obviously prepared to meet Apple's criteria and they certainly have the biggest appeal amongst music loving young people.

Orange in France and T-Mobile in Germany makes a lot of sense, and I think these relationships will prove extremely fruitful. Vodafone in the UK would have been the icing on the cake, IMHO, but we all know how stubborn they are and it doesn't surprise me that they messed this one up.

Yeah, Vodafone should have been less strict and just taken what they got offered. :(

yeah, but voda (and orange) "basterdise" the handsets so much it's not even worth using..

Yes, my Vodafone came with a big logo on the case (which I've replaced) and their edited menu. If Apple have their way though, none of this would happen - it's not much of a loss for the telecom companies as all the hype about iPhones will get them their business and everyone will know you can only get it from once place.
