Hello! I'm turning toward the forum in case someone might have the answer for me.
I'm a student in a French university, and as such I'm eligible for the Education reduction (i'm verified with Unidays, as it is the way outside America to avoid frauds). Problem: my classes are online, and i currently live in another country than the one I'm registered in.
I was looking to buy an Ipad Pro but when the time to pay came, impossible to select the address of the country I'm residing in to be sent to.
My best friend is also a student, in the country I'm living in, and said I should just use her own student discount so i can buy it and get it delivered here.
My question is, if I do buy my Ipad Pro using her uni discount code, will the Ipad be registered to her name? I don't want to have problem with technical assistance if I end up having to get it back in the future. She told me that it shouldn't be a problem, because people in America buy their apple product and can gift it to a friend or family for their birthdays or whatever, and thus, the registration of the product would be to my name when I power up the Ipad. It does make sense, but I hoped to have a real confirmation, as it's a pricey item I need for school and don't want to do something stupid because i'm pressed by time.
Thank you!
