As noted above this question is aimed at my volume limited European/UK brethren who own the new iPod nano.

Basically, how loud is it? Does it need headphones with an in line volume booster or is it fine out of the box?

I've bought one for my wife for xmas and now getting her some headphones, with the 3rd Gen nano it wasn't loud enough for her so just wanting to get some advice! Cheers!

Yeah, pretty sure it's EU legislation or something but I'm guessing if no one has noticed a problem with it then normal headphones should be fine.

volume limited? Which volume limited, is about the hard disc or sound? I think every ipod have volume limited, the min is about 20% of max.
