Seems like I have been having some LTE issues since the jailbreak.

I lose all data connection to LTE but when I make a phone call, it switches to 4G. When I hang up the call, it switches back to LTE and data is still not working.

Anyone else have this issue?

Seems like the only fix is to toggle LTE on and off.

This happens even if you're not jailbroken, it's how it works. When you are on a phone call it drops to the non-LTE radio, that's a known limitation unfortunately.

So you know calls do that regardless. LTE is data only.

As to losing the LTE data connection, my iP5 has always had that problem from time to time even prior to the JB being applied.

Don't think that was the case before.

But nevertheless, still losing data connection for some odd reason.

Just uninstalled some apps from Cydia and I am getting a bunch of purgeIdleCellConnections.

Might be an issue with something I installed.....

Have you tried resetting your connections? Never had any problems with Verizon LTE before or after JB.

Forgot about that....haha DOH!

Let me try that out.

Now i just need to remember all my wifi passwords.

Guys, I think your missing the OP's point. LTE shutting off during a call and coming back up after the call is normal. But his issue is that the LTE icon in the bar comes back up, but he gets no data connection at all. That's not normal.

OP, unfortunately i'm not experiencing the same, so I don't have any sure cures. Was just trying to refocus the topic of concern.

I would try resetting your network settings and/or try a Hard Reset. If that doesn't work, backup and restore and re-JB.

Good luck, mate!

Poor evasi0n, getting blamed for everything under the sun, people without trouble shooting skills shouldn't really jb.

Not blaming evasi0n directly. Just letting you know what jb i used. Could have said Absinthe v0.4 LTE issues, but that wouldn't of made any sense.

I could also have said "Non-evasi0n JB LTE issues"

True, let me elaborate on my experience.

Ever since I've gotten on the LTE bandwagon iPhone 5 and Galaxy Note 2, both phone always drops down to 3G when you're making a voice call.

If I happen to have an app running in the background, say Google maps navigation. It would be very slow to switch back to LTE AFTER the call is over as it seems like it didn't want to interrupt the data stream.

Seems like the LTE -> 3G -> LTE hand off could be improved upon.

At least your data would still work.... =)

Not sure what the issue is....

Looks like a handshake issues with WIFI and LTE.

People jb, install multiple apps, have a problem then blame it on the jb.

Common sense is not common.
