iPhone Evasi0n update + Weather

Nope same deal. Turned off all themes and tweaks and rebooted twice. It didn't happen uptil after the evasion update. Maybe it's just some phones. I'm running a 4s jail broken 6.1.2 FYI
With millions and millions of iDevices on the evasi0n jailbreak, yours is the 1st I've read about a weather issue after evasi0n update.
If it were a widespread issue, it would be all over the Internet.
My guess it is likely something unique to what's installed on your 4S.

Really that's strange cause when I google "evasi0n 6.1.2 weather" a ton of threads on diff sites relating to the same issues pop up lol. 1.1 evasion broke the weather app then they fixed it before. Thanks for suggestions though.
I hate to be that guy, but if you have any piracy software installed it is known to cause issues with this jailbreak. I don't know if the issues can be related to the weather app or if that was a separate issue altogether, but either way those piracy packages don't play nicely with the jailbreak. If you do have them, and you try to delete them and test the weather app again, I believe that before you try the weather app you gotta delete a couple plits files before it'll work. I might be confusing 2 separate issues but if you want more info just let me know. Someone can correct me if I have the two "bugs" confused.
No pirated apps just a couple themes I bought and some free basic tweaks. I doubt this is the issue affecting me. I always use my weather app religiously so I noticed it instantly after evasion team updated the package in cydia. Maybe if enough people complain they'll fix it. I'm sure they either know and or working on it hopefully. It's not that big of a deal I can check in safari I was just trying to see if someone has the same issue as I am having. Thanks
It was a common problem but they fixed it. Since it has been patched no one is really complaining of the issue. Try to open the app via the notification center. I've read that fixed it for some people. I'm thinking that your issue might be a permissions issue. If I have time ill do some googling. In the meantime try to open it via the NC and let me know if it opens or crashes.
Is it crashing when opening it from icon on home page ?
If not, you have a NC issue, not a weather app issue.
Dude, I hope I don't sound rude but let me explain again since no one is comprehending what the issue is.
EVERY thing else works fine in the notification center. The weather app auto closes from NC and from springboard or home screen whatever you wanna call it. The same issue evasi0n fixed the first time when the weather app was broken. You click it and it auto closes. EVERYTHING else works fine on my phone. It's definitely related to evasi0n as nothing else I've done besides updating their package.
I understand exactly what your problem is. My friends phone did the exact same thing. I have 2 other suggestions. You could try reinstalling the evasion package in Cydia. Not sure if this is dangerous or what but whatever you do, do not remove it. If you want to try, only try reinstalling it. The other idea I had was the script that came out before evasion got patched. If you can't find it ill get it for you. But this script was something you run in MobileTerminal and it fixes the weather app problem for many people. I'm grasping at air here though. I don't know what to say since evasion was patched to fix this exact problem. And if you're using the latest evasion I'm dumbfounded. Sorry dude. You can try my two suggestions if you'd like. Just let me know if you want more info.
iPhone 5 weather
I don't usually use the stock weather app so I'm not sure when this happened but I went to check to see if the update broke my stock weather app and I found that it actually has the iPhone 4 weather app and not the one that was for the iPhone 5 screen... Anyone else have this issue?

What do you mean iPhone 4 weather app? Maybe it's a weather related tweak you have installed from Cydia that only currently supports the resolution of the iPhone 4/4S display?
Well if I am not mistaken the iPhone 5 weather app had its hourly forecasts that extended downward to take advantage of the extra screen size but currently I have the weather that scrolls side to side like on the iPhone 4. Since I don't really use that weather app it isn't too big of a deal just found it weird especially since I have no weather tweaks installed.
