EVDO technology is almost brand new while the MBP mini card slot is as new as the MBPs (a couple months). my guess is that we won't have an EVDO card for the MBP for quite some time.
maybe someone with a little more knowledge can give a definitive answer.

I haven't seen any for Sprint yet, but ExpressCard/34 wireless cards do exist.

I am also hooked on EV DO because my work PC has one (so that I can be connected at all times; well, almost all the times except when I am travelling in the middle of the farm counties). One of the reasons I am very hesitating to getting MB is no PC card slot (but, I heard USB-based EV DO would become available in the future).
Is EV DO used outside North America?
