"Even add and delete mailbox folders on the fly." is a new feature in os5... but i can't figure out how to do it!! anyone please advise.

Unfortunately, the mail app calls the Folders "Mailboxes" which is very confusing. They use "Accounts" (i.e. MobileMe) which can have many "Mailboxes" (i.e. work, love emails, blackmail, etc), whereas you and I might call MobileMe our "Mailbox" which can have many "Folders" (work/love emails/blackmail). So with this in mind....

In the Mail app, navigate to Mail's "home screen" that lists all your email accounts and the All Inboxes. At the bottom, select the email Account that you want to add/change/delete a folder. When you see the list of all your folders, tap EDIT in the upper righthand corner. If you want to add a new folder (or "mailbox"), tap on NEW MAILBOX in the bottom right corner to add a folder. Or if you want to delete an existing folder, simply select the folder you want to delete and then tap the big red scary DELETE MAILBOX button. Rest assured, it will only delete that one folder. (or this is where you can simply change the name of the folder as well).

If you are still a little apprehensive about it messing up your whole Mailbox/Account, try adding a new folder called test or something, and you will see that Mailbox, in this sense, means Folder.
