Uh, no. You may see concept renders made by random people, but nothing remotely official. The notch is stupid, and there’s no way Samsung goes that route with how many people are laughing at the X for the notch.

Who’s the decent source? Don’t tell me just because Samsung has a patent on a notch like design that you think this means they’d go forward with it.
The one who reported it from memory has a decent track record. Guess we will see but normally rumors lately have a good chance at being true
The only reports are from Korea saying that Samsung has a patent for a notch design. A lot of these companies have patents for designs that are never used. I highly doubt Samsung will decide to create a distracting element for consuming content and be accused of copying Apple again.
For all we know, they may try to say Apple is infringing on our design patents. As at te end of the days, patents are meant for protecting IP whether or not you actually use it.

Samsung loved to copy Apple. I will not be surprised at all if the S9 has a notch.
Well I'm pretty sure Samsung has been the leaders recently in a lot of things, such as OLED, fast charge, wireless charge, bezel-less display... I would be surprised if they don't continue to lead rather than follow.
