OK,

I just want to sync my contacts and calendar between my Mac and PC. I use iCal/Address Book on the Mac. I use Outlook 2007 on my Vista PC.

Is it even worth trying? I don't want to lose everything or have a bunch of duplicates and all that.

I think what I am wanting to do is very simple, right?

I do like the disk space provided with MobileMe as well, and I may get an iPhone in the future. That's why I am looking at it.

Thanks.

It would be the easiest, but one of the systems (best to be the PC) need to be blank if there are already any duplicates. Either that, or just export your iCal and Address Book files and e-mail them to the Outlook system and integrate them.

I initially had trouble doing this myself. I first synced my outlook 2007 cal/contacts up to mobileme from my vista pc (no problems). I then tried to sync mobile me to iCal on my mac and it wouldn't work as it said incompatible calendars. I realised that it was just one particular calendar they was giving me problems , and because I didn't really need it I just deleted it on outlook and synced up to mobileme again. Then it synced to mobile me and iCal no problems.

Hopefully yours will to smoother than mine
