Hi,

In my Mac I set a couple of periodical events without any notification. But my iPad is showing notification for these events.

What's the problem?

Uh, you can't really expect to post barely two sentences and expect everyone to understand what you're talking about and be able to come up with some conclusion.

By the very little I have, the only thing I can think of is the fact that if your iOS device is being synced with your calendar, it will pop up a notification at the start of your event. There is no way to turn this off, that I am aware of, but it only pops up right at the time of the event and not ahead of time like alerts.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

The problem is that I'm creating events in Mountain Lion without any notification and for some reason it shows a notification on iOS.

Not sure what is causing this but it was working fine before. Is it a Mountain Lion problem or an iOS problem?

There are many ways to replicate this issue.

Let me show you one of them:

1. Create an event on Calendar (iOS) without any notification.

2. Edit the event on iCal (Mountain Lion) by a simple drag an drop. Change the date and time of the event.

3. Go to iOS and check the event's details. It will show an alert notification set to the time of the event.

Why it set that notification automatically?
