Hello everybody,

I have just released a major update for my calendar widget application.

Download it on the App Store for Free

This is how it looks like:

Main differences from the previous version include:

- added a possibility to display overdue reminders
- added an option to remember last focused position when the widget loads
- collapse events that have same name and date into a single one
- added select/deselect all buttons to calendar selection screen
- re-added the gradient to the icon

Version 2.2 brought these changes:

- added a full black background theme
- added a vivid colour scheme for the events
- weekends can be highlighted
- events now show the RSVP status
- redesign of the widget preview

Version 2.0 brought these changes:

- The app is now free
- The application now supports reminders (after in-app purchase)
- Animations everywhere
- iOS11 ready (finally)

It's nice and simple. Shows next 5 days that have events in the free version, 7 in the paid. Not sure how to get to the paid version nor am I sure I understand everything that the paid version includes.

In the widget, click on the day and it changes to a list view for that day. Includes all-day events. I might prefer to have the color dot show on the all-day events in the list view but that's not a deal-breaker.

The paid version is available as in app purchase in the Eventail Pro section at the bottom of the list. It adds 6-7 day views, reminders and a dark theme.

You can choose to display only the days that have events or all of them.

Touching "Eventail Pro" or even "Restore Purchases" does nothing on my iPhone 6 on iOS 11.2.5.

Hmm, thank you for the heads up! Reading on this a bit more it seems that it can sometimes happen that an app is approved, in-app purchases too, but they do not work together for a few hours. Not very good, I hope the problem will get sorted soon.

Hello, I have released several fixes since the 2.0.1 version. The latest version combines many fixes including fixes for in-app purchases, some crashers and so on.

Currently working on a version that will allow an unlimited (well, except for screen size) number of events displayed and some new features.

Looks like it may be what I was looking for. Does it sync with the stock Calendar and Reminders app?

So, app is pretty nice. My one request for now would be to somehow integrate reminders with no due date.

Thank you. I have some ideas about that but it will take some time to implement.

I have released an update to the app which among others brings the possibility to display the overdue reminders. It is a rather small summer update. Next version will bring an interactive mode to the widget.

I have released a new 3.0 and 3.1 updates since last writing here.

These updates bring a major new features such as:

  • A separate widget for reminders, also supporting iOS, Dark and Black themes
  • An interactive mode which allows you to
    • open the event/reminder in an app of choice
    • navigate to the event's location
    • open a tele-conference app
    • e-mail all participants
    • send a message/call a single participant (for e.g.: birthday events)
    • open any URL which is associated with the event (all events that are created from e-mail or messages contain a back link in the URL)
