As an amazon delivery driver, I can tell you that we deliver packages in an order that the warehouse gives us. So, the drivers of UPSand Fedex likely don't have control over when they deliver your phone either. Unless of course, you know a driver and can ask them to find your package in the van and deliver to you earlier. Although we have an order of delivery, we can still choose to deliver to a certain address and then continue with the regular order. Of course, there's other factors like taking a lunch, stopping to pee in the water bottles in the van since we can't get to a public restroom, customer issues like not answering the door in time and having to contact them, etc. There's also lots more packages to deliver lately, more than a driver can usually deliver in one day since companies are financially strapped and blame the economy for their issues. Delivery contractors are giving So, calling to find out where your phone is only delays the driver. Hope this helps 😁
