evernote search function doesn't work on itouch

i downloaded the latest apple and evernote software. when i use the search function in evernote on my itouch, it always says there are no notes w/that word in it--even though i know the word is there.
any ideas what to do?

what's an itouch? Apple software is only available to run on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Have you tried restarting, or checking for updates? Are you connected to the net, the notes aren't stored on the device.
