I've got a 3,1 Mac Pro running 10.10.5, it started having problems with Photoshop crashing and unexpected restarts and about every other time it is restarted it fails to mount the boot drive and boots into recovery mode.
Using disk utility it doesn't seem to have any issue with permission or the disk and the SMART status is Verified. I ran DiskWarrior and it seemed pretty fine. Reseated the drive, and reset PRAM. My first guess was that the drive was failing(old SATA disk) but these tests seem to say that it's okay. I'm trying to get TechTool running(having separate issues there) to check for bad blocks or other issues.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? thanks for any help.
