Every time they update maps they forget "walkers"

In many areas around me Apple Maps is only useful if you drive around in a car.

I have attached an image with a screenshot of my local area. If I use Google maps for local navigation and choose "walk". Routes along footpaths are used. Apple Maps however ignores the paths, they are in fact not present at all.

With every OS upgrade I have a silent hope that Apple Maps will end it's "Still sucks" streak, but alas...

Report it as an issue to the maps team.

I'm just glad I have to option to avoid highways now, one thing that kept me away from using the maps app. I know it gave you many options to the destination but most would have me go on the highways which I tried to avoid (work reasons).
