It's not free; it's a $100 rebate—big difference.

Plus I already have like 5 sitting in the basement unopened.

Just a note that we got the free printer with our purchase. We bought on the 8th or last month and the rebate check was in our mail box on the 20th of the same month. Got it before we even got the Credit card statement

I don't know if I need another printer, but I forgot to get iWork. Gotta go back and get that for cheaper with the new Mac purchase.

Toby you might want to give them a call on the 1-800 number so they can append your purchase, they're pretty good about that

I bought it at the Apple store, so I will just go back to the store tomorrow.

Ok they'll be good to you, I would have bought mine from the store too, but I saw the lines today, and I did not feel like going through that, online I went!

So I bought a mac today, but I screwed up and forgot to buy a printer on the same receipt. Is there any way I could pull it off without having to buy on the same receipt ?? I'm willing to break any and all laws to get my 100 bucks.

Just go back to the store. They'll probably fix it for you.

Can't find it link ?

Go to almost any page on the Apple Store and mouse over the "Apple Store" blue box in the upper left corner. The chat button will appear as if by magic.

Just to keep in on topic too, I went with the Canon PIXMA MP480 Photo All-in-One Printer, to keep it free.

I like the wireless HP one, but...

1.) the scanner resolution is lower then the canon
2.) the canon supports memory stick duo which will work for my Sony Camcorder
3.) and my printers are all on a rack anyways, which negates the need for wireless.
