Hello!
I recently purchased an EVGA GeForce GTX 680 for my Mac Pro 4,1 (which has been upgraded to a 5,1 firmware).
I've downloaded the latest NVIDIA GeForce drivers for Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.
When I boot the computer, nothing happens, at all (the computer starts though).
When I press the press the power button, the computer shuts down within 100 ms, i.e. immediately.
When I reboot with the old graphics card (a huge pink RADEON card), I can boot into OS X, and confirm that the NVIDIA drivers have been installed (and are used).
What should I do next? Is the card compatible? I saw it on a list of compatible Mac Pro graphics cards.
