Hi guys, i just bought an evga gtx980ti for my mac pro 5,1 with el capitan, i guess i installed correctly webdrivers and cuda drivers. Everytime i boot in, nvidia driver manager shows "osx default graphics drivers" selected. even if i select to use web driver, when i reboot it come backs to default drivers. What should i do? thanks

You can set it manually at the command line:
sudo nvram boot-args="nvda_drv=1"

Check to ensure that the command is set:
sudo nvram -p

Hi, i guess it didn't work. Everytime i reboot osx driver is selected on nvidia driver manager and from terminal no sign of nvidia driver.

Try wiping the NVRAM at boot, that might help. Does it remember other settings (e.g. boot volume or audio volume)?

In case you can't write the NVRAM, you could still add the boot flag to your boot.plist.
