I remember when I worked at a grocery store every pay cheque we got had our hours to date since we'd started. The same day I gave my 2 weeks notice the paystub I received at a total of 666 hours on it. I took it as a sign I was doing the right thing.

lol this reminds me of a Pizza Hut promotion from a few years ago.

You know the buy one regular pizza at full price get up to three more for $5 each? The ad's were along the lines of 5 bucks, 5 bucks, 5 bucks.

Well here in Canada it was $6. The pizza hut in our town had a big banner promoting it, but all you could see from a distance was the 6's.

It was highly amusing.

Maybe it depends where you come from. I don't know how I found out but I've always just known that 666 is associated with the devil/evil. I suppose this shows you learn something new everyday. Especially here on MR.
