Excel 2008 after snow leopard

Since I installed SL the excel mac 2008 hasn't been working correctly.
There are some delays when executing functions or simply even doesn't respond.
This just happens at user account. I tried to run it at guest account and works normally.
Some suggestion to fix this issue? Thank you.

same problem here: Upgraded (NO clean install) to Snow Leopard yesterday and since then Excel 2008 is running terrible slow.
Called AppleCare today but they don't support Office. Tried something with deleting caches but that did not help.
Anybody who knows the solution?

For me, at last, Snow Leopard was a perfect excuse for migrating to Numbers. Sure, I lost lots of features but for my personal needs it's not that bad. Actually it went so well I don't think I'm ever again going to install Microsoft software on my Mac.
