I am running the latest Mac OS and the current version of Excel 16.18.
I have a sheet that links to another sheet in a different folder. When I establish the link, in the" edit links" menu the correct path name of the link is : /"Users/whbunn/Dropbox/Financials/Vanguard Funds".
I save the file and close the file. Auto update of links is on.
When I next open the file I get an error message that linked file cannot be found. I go to establish the link and find the file path has been changed to: "/whbunn/Dropbox/Financials/Vanguard Funds". The "/Users" has been removed from the path. Creating An invalid path name.
I have renamed, moved files/folders to no avail. Moved then into same folder but the app Excel changes the path when I next open file. I post on Excel board, they were no help.
