You can edit your text message in an excel file, import the excel file to ExcelSMS and let the app send the text message. You can save the message you just sent to an excel file which contains all recipients.
1.you can send multiple messages imported from an excel file via USB(File Sharing) or WiFi with just a few clicks . it's the most important feature of this app.
2.you can insert a property name (such as the contact fistname or nick name) in the text message in order to send personalized sms.
for example, if you fill out the following text message in a sms import file:
Hi {nickname}, nice to meet you.
when the app compose the text message , it will replace {nickname} with the recipient nickname:
Hi Lucy, nice to meet you.
Hi Jenny, nice to meet you.
the app now supports the following property name in the text message:
{firstname}
{lastname}
{middlename}
{nickname}
{company}
Note: if you change the contact nickname in the sms import file, the app will not update the contact in your iPhone.
3.you can select multiple contacts and send a message to all of them.
4.you can select multiple groups and send a message to all contacts in these groups. if a contact has more than one phone number, the app will automatically let you choose a phonenumber for sms.
5.you can save the message to an excel file which contains all contact numbers as well as names of all recipients.
6.you can edit the excel file generated by ExcelSMS using Excel, OpenOffice or any other Excel-compatible application.
7.you can add more messages in an excel file. that means one excel file can contain multiple messages.
8.you can configure the app to check/uncheck if recipients in the excel file exists in your iPhone.
9.you can configure the app to only choose mobile phone number as sms recipient phone number.
10.you can configure the app to separate a message with a large number of recipients into more messages with limit number of recipients.
