Exchange Calendar Categories/Colors -> iPhone Calendar Colors?

OK, this may seem a stupid question, but here goes:

In my Calendar in Exchange/Outlook, I have assigned different categories and colors to different types of appointments: Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc. The appointments sync over to the iPhone just fine, but the colors do not come across. Am I missing something, or is this just not something the iPhone does?

You need MobileMe in order to sync the colors. It's pretty lame that the colors don't just transfer from phone to iCal and vice versa.
