Exchange email only shows a few emails in inbox

I'd like to know if anyone has a solution to this.... I set up my gmail as an exchange account so that pushing can be achieved - yet my inbox only shows 2 emails which are from the past 24 hours or so. Is there any way to get more emails showing? (and yes - i have many more than just 2)

The first iPhone was released, I was one of the biggest fans of the Mobile Post Office, and his biggest criticism. I am a fan of necessity, because the mail client is a phone, mail is surprisingly usable. But I'm a critic, as well as the Mail, has long been a feature of a number of obvious deficiencies that hamper its usefulness, and some of my greatest desires to be fulfilled including IOS 4 holes.
