Ok so just checking with you guys that this is correct.
So I ordered an iPhone 15 256 gb Pro Max in black and used Apple trade in for my old 14 Pro Max.
I paid £1199 for the new phone.
Apple sent in the trade pack and I sent the 14 Pro Max to Apple and they credited my bank account with £635.
Earlier this week, I decided that I wanted to change from black phones, so I reserved an iPhone 15 256 GB Pro Max Natural Titanium for pick up from my local Apple Store. I paid £1199 for the phone and picked it up today and handed in my black iPhone 15 256 gb Pro Max for a refund of £1199.
However Apple have split the £1199 refund and sent a refund to my bank for £564 and have issued gift vouchers for £635 which is the value of the trade in for my old 14 Pro Max.
Apple return policies don’t seem exactly clear on this when a trade in is involved , but I’m guessing that this is correct and that they wouldn’t issue a complete refund of £1199 because the black 15 pro max was partially funded from the trade in for the 14 Pro Max?
