My first 3g iPHone kept on locking up when installing apps using iTunes. I restored it about 15 times over the last week. I just took it to an Apple store yesterday and got an exchange.
I hooked up the new phone to itunes and it synced all my apps without a hitch. This is the first time in a week I was able to do this.
Now iTunes wants me to upgrade my phone to 2.0.1 and I am thinking I will just leave 2.0 on the phone instead of updating it. I have a hunch the problem all started when I updated my previous phone to 2.0.2.
What would you do? update or leave it at 2.0?

update. your issue probably wasn't software related, most likely a faulty hardware chip.

Well, I took your advice and now my phone won't sync all my apps.
I am on my second restore now. Everything worked great until I installed 2.0.2 and then did a sync. Is there any way to get back to 2.0.0?
