Exchanging 3gs question.

I am supposed to swap my 3gs later this week and was wondering, how do I transfer the apps that I have downloaded? I just got the phone and have one 10 dollar app, and all my contacts so far, nothing else. I haven't even synced it to my computer. Do I just need to sync it, and then back it up?

Very simply.

The applications you have bought can be synced to your computer. Plug your iPhone into your computer, sync it through iTunes, and your application purchases will all be saved.

Back up your iPhone just in case, and then swap your 3GS.
