Ming Chi Kuo has announced that Apple will release three new OLED phones next year in 5.4”, 6.1” and 6.7” sizes. I thought I’d ask the forum what price you think all three models will be, though I’m specifically interested in the new 5.4” size. Will the prices look similar to our current iPhones, with the smaller and larger models being more premium than the middle 6.1”? Do you think the 5.4” phone will get all of the features of its larger siblings?

11S Pro - 5.4" - Redesign
11S Pro Max - 6.7" - Redesign without notch
Both of the above will have feature parity, by and large.

The 11S Pro will probably be at least 999 or higher. The 11S Pro Max will likely be 1149/1199+ or higher.

The regular 11S will be 6.06" and probably be priced at 749 or 799.

All of them will come with OLED and 5G!

You're welcome.

I doubt Apple will continue with the “11” moniker adding a “S” with a product redesign. But, that aside, I think we’ll need to see greater feature parities between the 5.4” and the 6.1” for the 5.4” to continue to command the $999 price as the existing 5.8” iPhone 11 Pro. Promotion display, higher pixel density display, smaller bezels and a smaller notch, time of flight camera upgrades, etc. If the screen and body are shrinking, even if many customers such as myself are clamoring for it, I think they’ll need to pack it with more features to continue to command the $999 price compared with a $749/$799 upgrade to the existing 6.1” iPhone 11.

The prices will be exactly the same as this years models. Who knows about the features, not sure what else they can cram in there? But the standard 12 should get a nice 6.1” OLED and new design :) hopefully it’ll be a bit smaller and lighter.

2020 will be an interesting year as we'll have parity in OLED screens across the board, including the 6.1" model. So if it's true that the 6.1" model will be the same or similar price of $699, I'll be interested to see how they differentiate the 5.4" and 6.7" models in terms of other features to set them apart and command their higher price points.

Even if they're more expensive, the question still stands on how they'll differentiate the regular "12" from the two "12 Pro" models when they'll all have OLED screens. Perhaps the Pro models will get promotion displays, thinner bezels, a smaller notch, and USB-C.

Probably, yes, or smaller battery maybe.

It will be called 12 and I really don't think it should be more expensive given how apple is now trying to get iPhones in everybody's pants on the account of their services. Would be horrible mistake to increase price tbh. 11S will not exist next year's model will be redesigned from ground up like the X from 7,8 series and be called the 12. Idk what they will be priced but my wishes are no notch (not likely), no camera bump (not likely),

iPhone 5G - Sub-6GHz only
iPhone 5G Pro - mmWave, smaller notch, ToF
iPhone 5G Pro Max - mmWave, smaller notch, ToF

Maybe Apple will also add in-display fingerprint and Pencil support for Pro devices.

Doubt Apple will call it iPhone 11s or iPhone 12. That's boring as heck for a new form factor device with 5G support.
