My new MBP 17" is on the way, and was just wondering the best way to protect it from being "snatched" etc.
People have reccomended: Undercover

It seems quite good. But has anyone actually used it? did they get your laptop back? How fast? etc. etc.
Also what is to stop people swapping out the HDD's and doing a fresh install? Will it work?
I know you can put a password on the firmware or something to stop a format, but what if you put a preformatted blank drive in.
I know that the HDD is a pain to swap out, but I'm sure a theif would do it, considering it's worth nearly £2k.
Finally, does this actually, properly work in the UK? or is it antother US thing?

I'll have to put it on my laptop, so when my brother tries to geto n my laptop, he'll jump out his skin!!
