When I go to the Keychain Access app (applications/utilities) on my iMac running macOS Big Sure 11.3.1, in my login default keychain, I have two *.branch.io certificates that expired in 2018. I don't know what they are for or from, and hesitant to delete them unless I know it won't cause any issues.

Are they safe to delete?

Thanks!

A quick google search reveals that branch.io "helps mobile apps grow with deep links that power referral systems..."
Perhaps, you used their software once, perhaps visited their website, or some other app used their certificate.
In any case, I'd deleted those without hesitation, nothing good comes from expired certificates. I there ever will be a need of those certificates in the future, I'm sure there will be newly generated ones.

You likely used software that integrated with Branch that was running an older version of our SDK. Those are safe to delete without any issue. If you have any other questions specific to Branch please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@branch.io.
