Is the service gonna be much better now that aws is supported with tmobile? Was thinking of getting the s4 actually since the iPhone 5 is 6 months old already. I take it tmobile 3G is faster than normal CDMA 3G?

AWS is the main frequency for T-mobile's HSPA+42 and they are refarming some Edge areas to 1900 mhz PCS which is the frequency that AT&T uses for HSPA+. So if you have the AWS enabled iPhone and you don't have LTE you can use regular 4G which is HSPA+42 for the most part. If you have the regular unlocked iPhone you can only get 3G from the 1900 mhz band or 2G (Edge) based speeds or LTE if it's available in your area.

So aws enables the 42 mb speeds where lte isn't available? 1900 MHz is AT&Ts frequency? Is that for roaming as well?

Cool. So with aws enabled tmobile phones it will utilize every network tmobile offers? Do they have roaming agreements with AT&T?
