export text messages?

hi. can anyone point to a place or program that is free that exports text messages? i can't seem to find one that is legitimate and works with ios5.

thanks tremendously. call me a weirdo but i like keeping the text logs of my ex-girlfriends but don't want them on my phone in case the current checks it out.

edit: i realize i put this in the wrong forum. it should be in iphone rather than ios5. sorry.
