I have 2,260 Exchange contacts on my iPad that I need to export to iCloud. The only place they exist is on my iPad. They are contacts from a company I no longer work for nor have access to anywhere else.

I disabled Contacts from iCloud and then re-enabled them. Merging my local contacts did not place my Exchange contacts into iCloud.

Thank you for looking!

The easiest solution will probably be provided by locating the right contacts management/duplicates-finder app in the app store. The only Apple-supplied capability in iOS/iPadOS would be to use the Share Contact capability, which is a one-by-one process on those platforms (Mac Contacts allows selecting multiple contacts for export) - hardly something you'd want to do 2,260 times.
