Exporting

Is there any program put there that will let me convert a .mov file into a .mp4 file. i know wuicktime will do this but on different videos i have, sometimes the File>Export feature is blanked out. thanks.

http://handbrake.m0k.org/ this program will, the problem with quicktime is that to use this feature you need quicktime pro.

I already have QuickTime Pro but everytime I use handbrake, it always tells me that I need a VIDEO_TS folder

i did a search and found this

NOTE: Yes, you can skip using Mac the Ripper... but I've heard of many instances where trying to use Handbrake to rip directly from a DVD does not work.

so maybe what you need to do is download "mac the ripper" and try it that way.

iSquint is probably your easiest option. Especially if you want to use them for an iPod. It has a built in iPod settings button. You can convert .mpg, .wmv, .mov, and I'm not sure what else:
