Expose/Dashboard not smooth if running on battery power

This bugs the hell out of me. Unless I'm plugged in, Expose/Dashboard will run choppy when I open them (the animation looks like crap). Is there any way to fix this? It only happens when I'm on battery power.

Check your power settings for battery. In System preferences. Set battery to Highest processor performance. See if that helps.

Nope, it's still operating laggy under "Better Performance."
