Expose Keys (f9,f10,f11) Not working

I have noticed that for a couple of days now my expose keys arent working. My corner assignments also stopped working, but I got that fixed through perferences. I have tried to go into perferences and change the settings for these keys..and then change them back but it hasnt helped.

I'm using a ibook g4

Any help is apprecaited..

I only use one account and an administrator account..so I'll check that.

yes they do work on the admin account.

and, also, my marble blast gold is gone from this account!

So that means its gonna be easily fixable?

My advice would be simply to make a new acccount, move everything over, and delete that one.

Maybe that's extreme. Who knows. I just like playing with my mac.

Is Marble Blast Gold in the default Applications folder?

As for Exposé, did the newly assigned keys work? I realise the F9, F10 and F11 didn't work when reassigned but I wonder if other random keys work.

Also, I'm not sure you understood what I meant by the FN key so I found you a relevant support article.

Also, are you running Panther or Tiger?

Try going to system pref's opening international settings. Then clicking on the input tab and enable keyboard viewer and then click show input menu.
Now click on the flag picture in the menu bar and click Show Keyboard Viewer then see if those keystrokes are registered by the program. If not call applecare. I had the same problem with my F1 key and they are sending me a new keyboard (after first sending me a the USB keyboard on accident)

I've had Expose randomly stop working on me before too, I think assigning new keys to it and assigning them back worked for me, either that or a log out. It didn't seem to be anything too bad.

Good technique to check for bad keys there however it worked in another account so I'm not sure this'll be the problem.

I have now logged in and out and everything is once again magically working... hm.. interesting..

As for the marble blast, where woudl my default application file be? I tried a spotlight..but that didnt come up with anything.

Okay, you're saying that Marble Blast Gold was in your administrator account but not the one you use day-to-day, right? Well, if you go back to your administrator account, then open a Finder window and click on Applications on the left hand side. It should be in here. If it isn't here, where is it?

FWIW, logging in and logging out again is a pretty good solution to many small problems like this. I do a quick restart on the rare occasion something bizarre happens.
