MP All Models Extend thunderbolt 3

I want to extend the distance between my Mac Pro 2020 and my Areca RAID to about 5 meters away.

I understand the max length of a thunderbolt 3 cable is 3 meters. Is there a cheaper way of doing other than a fibre optic thunderbolt cable, which is about £450!

Optical cables are it.
