Just wondering if someone was aware of a way to remove, or extend the timeout for the Superdrive to auto close it's drawer?

If the drive is opened by command and left idle, it will auto close after a few minutes.

This might be done in the drive itself rather than in software, I don't know. However, just as a warning, I've seen drives ruined by leaving them open too long - dust gets everywhere.

Of course, that doesn't answer your question

Yeah I am worried that it is the drive controlling this. Don't worry, I don't intend on keeping it open 24/7.
