Is it possible to extend a drive in a notebook to the cloud.
Say I have a MacBook Air with a 256G SSD and I extend/bind it with a 1TB HDD in the cloud or a disk attached to the USB port on an Apple Airport/Time Capsule router.
What I want is the computer storage on the MBA to appear as 1TB, the 256G SSD to be completely replicated on the HDD, and thus if my MBA is missing, fails etc. I lose nothing. Obviously some magic storage management system would keep the right stuff to on the SSD so I would very seldom experience any performance hit.
