does anyone know how to configure a linksys router so that it will allow time capsule to extend its signal? my time capsule picks it up but it says that linksys does not allow its network to be extended anybody know a way to extend it?

You'll have to install a 3rd party firmware, such as OpenWRT, to do this. Please make special note of the supported devices.

You can also set the TC as a wireless access point with an alternative SSID if you want.

Then you'd have to wire it back to the Linksys. If you're going to do that, I'd use the same SSID on a different channel so one could roam between them without issue.
