My 3 year Apple care warranty has just run out on my 24" iMac.
Can extend for $99AUD here for a year.
No issues with it so far.
Anyone else extend it or just take the punt?

I've never paid for Apple Care for any of the Macs I've owned, using the rationale that most problems will arise within the first year. I could buy a new mac with the money I've saved. I've been either lucky or wise.

I used to subscribe to this same rationale but have changed my position since internal components can no longer be replaced or upgraded. Repairs are so expensive because logic board or entire display is replaced.
