Extending Applecare + on MacBook Pro in UK

Hi all

The AppleCare + is due to expire this May for both my iPad Pro 12.9 M1 and my Intel i9 16" MacBook Pro

Has anyone in the UK got experience of extending the AppleCare + on these devices, or I guess any devices?

How much is it, and how do you go about extending it?

I don't know about the UK - but I spoke with a person at apple about this the other day - when it comes up for renewal the way to go about it is to switch onto a monthly plan and just continue to let it run. apparently the monthly plan is the only one that keeps on going

I've done it on my 11 inch ipad pro in the UK. so you either do it within a month before it expires or it's within a month AFTER it expires. I have a feeling it's AFTER it expires and you just continue it. it's very easy.
