I need help to extend the range of my network, I have a Buffalo Wireless-G router which is also used as a wired router to the PC, but it doesn't have enough range to make it to the other side of the house. I have changed channels but it hasn't helped, I also can't move the router as it needs to work with the PC & it is where the modem is located. I was thinking I might need a better antennae but didn't know which one to get.

Depending on the router you can sometimes switch out the antenna. Also some times the transmit power is limited by the software so you may want to look in the that as well.
