Has anybody been able to get their Extensions in the Today panel to stay in the order you put them in? I've tried editing their order within the panel. I tried to drag them in the order I want them to in "System Preference>Extensions" area as well as unchecked all in "System Preference>Extension" and add a check to them in the order I want them to be in. But every time I boot up my computer or restarted their back out of the order I put them in. I just want to put them in a specific order and for them to stay that way.

Mine do. Are you running the latest version of Yosemite (10.10.2)? Have you tried repairing your disk permissions in Disk Utility?
I have the same problem.....
I did repair my disk permissions.....
I still have the same problem.....
Yes I've tried running repairing permissions. I've tried booting into safe mode to let the OS do its maintenance routines but that didn't help either. It's been like this in 10.10.0, 10.10.1 and 10.10.2. If only I knew which preference file to delete I would try that and see if that made a difference.
I think I fixed my problem. I used the application "EasyFind" and did a search for "notificationcenter" and I found these two folders:
Users/<username>/Library/Saved%20Application%20State/com.apple.notificationcenterui.savedState/
Users/<username>/Library/Saved%20Application%20State/com.apple.UserNotificationCenter.savedState/
So I put the extensions in the order I want them. Then I deleted both the folders and restarted my computer. The extension remained in the order I put them in just before deleting folders. And after starting my computer up again today my extensions are still in the order I put them in. I just hope it will continue to hold.

Yes I did, stupid Dragon Dictate. I usually try to read back through to make sure there's no mistakes like that but even then I miss them sometime. I'm old and senile now. I went back and edited my post to correct that. LOL
