External Audio devices not working with EL Capitam, When Will this be fixed?

I am a DJ and work with Traktor and a Pioneer DJM-t1 mixer... everything used to work perfectly fine with Snow leopard, mavericks, Yosemite, but since I upgraded to El Capitan My Pioneer Mixer is not being recognised by my macbook...
I am not the only one with this similar problems... most of my music production friends are in the same problem.... When with this be fixed by Apple?

my scarlett 2i2, and my nuforce dac3 both work. contact the manufacturer...perhaps there's a new driver? not everyone is having this problem, so...talk to pioneer...

Like @fisherking said, check your manufacturer website for updated drivers. Take in mind that some manufacturers don't officially support El Capitan yet, however many are working to fix it (i.e. iZotope just released updates). If you still can't find drivers, maybe you should roll back to Yosemite til the drivers are updated.

Not sure why people update to a newer OS without check compatibility of apps they use the most. Just common sense....

I don't have any particular issues with Cappy myself, but to answer your question, sometimes the only way to check the compatibility is to try it yourself. You just have to be ready with a good/current backup to restore from in case of failure. He's talking about a piece of hardware, not an app. AFAIK

I have no probs with el cap either, however it's always good practice to check compatibility on both apps and hardware before upgrading to a new OS. Vendors are usually pretty good about posting compatibility of their products when a new OS rolls out. If they don't have anything posted, an email works as well. I've seen so many people complain about how el cap broke this app and that piece of hw won't run since upgrading to el cap, yet most vendors haven't made an official announcement about full compatibility.

And as you said, always have a backup before upgrading.
