Hi!
I'm a photographer and I have noticed that in OSX10.11 external CF cards will no longer be displayed as external volume!

I'm so upset! I need to access directly the content of my card through the finder as I always did. Where is all gone now??

The only way to import photos is through "Photos" now?? Are you kidding me?

Please is there a terminal command line to display CF cards (attached to mac with a usb card-reader) in Finder again?

Please click Finder-Preferences-General, then check the 'External disks' item. Switch to Sidebar tab, and check 'External disks' item for Devices.

CF cards show up for me in 10.11 the same as they always have. It's probably the setting in the post above mine.

Yeah, you merely have to enable said feature. Both CF and SD cards show up fine on my Mini via Lexar readers. It was a little disconcerting to have to make my drives "visible" after the upgrade. Not sure why you want them invisible...
